Paua is the Maori name given to a species of abalone that thrive exclusively in the waters along the temperate coastline of New Zealand. Like ‘Paua’, New Zealand grapes thrive in the cool climate conditions of the Southern Hemisphere producing wines with intense and appealing fruit characters. Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region is widely sought after around the world for its lively flavours and distinctive herbaceous aromas.

Paua Bay Wines is owned by several Marlborough based grape growers and has supplied wines to the world market since 2007. We supply wines to clients using our own brands or proprietary labels supplied by clients. We supply by multiple pallets or container load. We work with clients to build brands that have integrity, longevity, and relevance to your market. While we specialise in Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc we offer smaller volumes of other varieties such as Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.
