90+ Cellars - Lot 66 Riesling, Germany
Low stock: 1 left
The Mosel River winds its way northeast from the Vosges mountains of France until it joins Germany’s Rhine. Above this twisting waterway is a magnificent patchwork of vineyards and ancient castles that cling to steep, verdant hillsides. To be qualified as “steep slopes,” 100% of the fruit must come from classified vineyards which have an incline of at least 30%. In this area of Mosel, the average incline of vineyards is 45%.
The grapes are picked from vines grown in predominantly slate soils on steep slopes throughout the Mosel Saar Ruwer valleys. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel, resulting in a crisp, off-dry style Riesling.

About the Brand
90+ Cellars is a wine brand that was founded in 2009 with the goal of providing high-quality wines at affordable prices. The concept behind 90+ Cellars is unique: they source wine from highly rated vineyards and wineries around the world, which have received scores of 90 points or higher from leading wine critics. The wines are then bottled under the 90+ Cellars label, allowing consumers to enjoy premium wine without the premium price tag.
The company, founded by Kevin Mehra and Brett Vankoski, operates on a straightforward yet innovative business model. They purchase surplus wine from esteemed wineries, often those with excess inventory that they cannot sell under their own label due to marketing or production reasons. By doing this, 90+ Cellars is able to offer wines that are often of the same quality as more expensive bottles, but at a fraction of the price.
The portfolio of 90+ Cellars includes a wide variety of wine types, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and more. They source wines from many renowned wine regions across the globe, including Napa Valley, Bordeaux, Tuscany, and New Zealand. This diversity in sourcing allows them to offer a range of wines that cater to different palates and preferences.
One of the key aspects of 90+ Cellars' success is their commitment to transparency and quality. They ensure that every bottle meets their high standards before it is offered to customers. Their wines are available at many retailers across the United States, and they have a strong online presence as well.
